is combination of two dessert favorites that will totally blow your mind Peach Cobbler Cheesecake

Have you ever accidentally stumbled on an amazing mixed up recipe like this Peach Cobbler Cheesecake before?

You may never eat them separately after trying this baby! It's everything you love about soft, tangy New York-style cheesecake and summery peach cobbler in one easy dessert!

Move over, Cheesecake Factory. You've got nothing on this slice of bliss.

Hi guys, and happy summer! It's Erica from The Crumby Kitchen, and I'm so happy to be sharing another amazing dessert with you!

The wonderful thing about this cheesecake is that you can enjoy it all year long!

Long after the fabulous summer fruit season ends, all you need are frozen peach slices to throw yourself back to warmer days.

There is plenty of peach flavor in the topping on this cheesecake, but you can infuse even more if you're so inclined!

When you're whipping up the peach topping, make a little extra and pulse it in the blender to make a sauce. Swirl it into the cheesecake batter before baking and BOOM.

Peachy swirls of happiness beneath a dreamy layer on top.

Oh, that top. Brown sugar and butter-sauteed peaches, and patches of sweet cobbler dough are added to the cheesecake as it's baked.

If you've ever had a problem with cracked cheesecake, you won't need to worry about it with this recipe!

Actually, cracks would be welcome in this cheesecake - they'd be the perfect place to drop extra peach filling into!

If peach cobbler isn't your favorite - maybe you prefer cherry, or fall apples are filling your pantry - you can easily swap out fruit.

This cobbler cheesecake is super versatile, and I can't wait to test out more delicious varieties!

Helpful Tips to make Peach Cobbler Cheesecake:

  • Make sure your cream cheese, sour cream, and eggs are at room temperature before mixing the batter! Cold cream cheese = lumps in the final product. Adding cold sour cream and eggs can also mess with the batter cohesion.
  • If you need to warm your cream cheese quickly, remove the bricks from the foil wrappers and microwave in 20-second blasts until it is soft, but not too warm.
  • Don't over-mix the batter. Mixing too much and incorporating too much air can cause the cheesecake to rise too quickly and then fall, resulting in cracks.
  • Cook it in a water bath. Wrap the bottom and sides of your springform pan with aluminum foil, the fill the pan with batter. Place the pan in a large roasting pan and fill it halfway up the sides with hot water. This process, called a bain marie, keep the cake from cracking while it bakes.
  • Cool the cheesecake properly. When the cake is baked, turn the oven off and crack the door, holding it open with the handle of a wooden spoon. Cool it this way for at least an hour, then remove it and let it come to room temperature before refrigerating it.

What you will need to make Peach Cobbler Cheesecake:

  • A Sharp Knife - The best way to cut through a soft cheesecake is with a sharp knife that's been run under hot water. Perfect slices with little mess!
  • Springform Pan - This is basically required for cheesecake. The ring sides pop off and make removing the cake easy and clean.
  • KitchenAid Mixer - A good stand mixer makes mixing your cheesecake batter so easy! Grab the scraping paddle too, to ensure no lumps from the cream cheese.

Enjoy!

Ingredients

CHEESECAKE
  • 1 3/4 cups graham crackers ( 1 package)
  • Kosher salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 packages cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
PEACH TOPPING
  • 2 cups peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
COBBLER TOPPING
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water

Instructions

CHEESECAKE
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, with rack in lower third of oven. Line the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper, and grease the entire inside of the pan. Set aside.
  2. Pulse the graham crackers and a pinch of salt in a food processor until finely ground. Stir in the melted butter.
  3. Press the crumbs into an even layer in the prepared pan using your fingers and the flat bottom of a glass. Bake for 10 minutes, remove from oven and allow to cool. Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees F.
  4. Double wrap the bottom and sides of the springform pan with large squares of aluminum foil, gently folding the sides of the foil up around the pan.
  5. Place the cream cheese into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until smooth and creamy. Scrape the side of the bowl. Add the sugar, flour, lemon zest, a pinch of salt, and vanilla and beat until well combined, about 4 minutes.
  6. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating for 1 minute after each addition. Scrape the side of the bowl. Add the sour cream, beat until just blended.
  7. Scrape the cheesecake batter into the pan, over the crust. Smooth the top into an even layer.
  8. Place the springform pan into a roasting pan, then place the pan into the oven. Pour hot water into the roasting pan, until it reaches halfway up the springform pan.
  9. Bake at 450 degrees F for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 225 degrees F. Bake for 25 minutes, then carefully remove the pan from the oven. Carefully spread the peach topping in an even layer on top of the cheesecake, then dollop the cobbler in lumps on top of the peaches. Return to oven and bake an additional 25-35 minutes until the cheesecake is set and the cobbler topping is golden brown.
  10. When the cheesecake is baked, turn off the oven and crack open the door. Prop it open with the handle of a wooden spoon. Allow the cheesecake to cool for at least an hour like this, then remove it to a cooling rack to cool to room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator 6-24 hours before serving.
PEACH TOPPING
  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan set over medium heat. Add the peaches, sugars, flour, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and allow to cook 5-10 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
COBBLER TOPPING
  1. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the flour, sugars, baking powder, and salt until combined. Grate the butter into the dry ingredients and cut it in using your fingers or a pastry cutter until pea-sized balls are formed. Stir in water until just combined.

I am a peach cobbler fiend (must be those southern Florida roots) with many peach cobbler recipe twists on our site.

As I was huddled over the sink devouring a fresh peach last week wondering what incredible creation I would come up with this peach season, it hit me! Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Salad.

Our cheesecake salads have a huge following and for good reason. {{swoon}} They are some of the most downloaded recipes on our site.

The combination of a rich and creamy cheesecake filling and flavorful fresh fruit creates an over the top decadent fruit salad unlike anything you have ever tried!

And this one really went all out with divine bits of candied cinnamon graham crackers as the 'cobbler' topping.

Helpful Tips to make Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Salad:

  • Do not pour all of the creamer into the cream cheese at once. It will get clumpy and no matter how long you beat it, it will stay that way. Trust me on this one.
  •  To make this ahead: prepare the cheesecake mixture and refrigerate in a bowl. Prep the peaches and refrigerate. Before serving, drain any excess liquid from the fruit and then fold the cheesecake filling into the fruit. Serve and enjoy!

Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Salad

Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Salad comes together so simply with fresh peaches, a rich and creamy cheesecake filling and glorious bits of crisp sweet 'cobbler' to create the most spectacular fruit salad ever! Every bite is absolutely bursting with flavor and you are going to go nuts over this recipe!
prep time: 15 minscook time: 15 minstotal time: 30 mins

Ingredients

Topping
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 package graham crackers, crumbled into little pieces (9 sheets)
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
Cheesecake Salad
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant cheesecake flavored pudding, unprepared
  • 1 cup International Delight French Vanilla Creamer (liquid)
  • 4 pounds peaches (about 8), cut into bite-size pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone liner.
  2. In a medium size microwave safe bowl combine brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Stir to combine. Microwave 30 seconds at a time until the mixture is bubbly and the sugar is melted. Add the crumbled graham crackers and stir until the graham cracker pieces are coated well.
  3. Pour mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with granulated sugar, this will give it a real crisp coating. Bake until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool.
  4. Meanwhile: In a medium tall bowl (I use my 8 cup measuring cup), using an electric mixer, whip cream cheese until it becomes smooth. It may bind up in the beaters, but continue as is and it will loosen up.
  5. Add the dry pudding mix. Beat until well combined.
  6. With the mixer on low, slowly add the creamer to the cream cheese mix. Add it about a tablespoon at a time and then mix until it becomes a smooth mixture and all of the creamer has combined into the cream cheese, repeat until all of the creamer has been added to the mixture. Whip until smooth.
  7. Fold the peaches into the cheesecake mixture. Chill until ready to serve or serve immediately. Finish your dessert by stirring in and sprinkling with the topping before serving. The topping will soften in the cheesecake filling, the longer it is in the filling the softer it becomes. Use your best judgement. I liked the pieces crunchy and my daughter liked them soft.

DONNA'S NOTES

  1. Do not pour all of the creamer into the cream cheese at once. It will get clumpy and no matter how long you beat it, it will stay that way. Trust me on this one.
  2. To make this ahead: prepare the cheesecake mixture and refrigerate in a bowl. Prep the peaches and refrigerate. Before serving, drain any excess liquid from the fruit and then fold the cheesecake filling into the fruit. Serve and enjoy!

Crock Pot Peach Cobbler is a delicious homemade peach cobbler Crock Pot Peach Cobbler

This crock pot peach cobbler is perfection. It's super quick and easy, and it's the perfect summer time recipe.

Such a great way to use up those juicy fresh peaches that are in season. And it's a perfect summer dessert because you don't have to heat up our oven!

Peach cobbler is one of my favorite desserts, and it totally reminds me of summer because most of the time when I make it, its when we are camping!

I cook it up in the dutch oven over some coals, and it is the perfect hot dessert to eat before climbing into bed.

Crock Pot Peach Cobbler is a delicious homemade peach cobbler Crock Pot Peach Cobbler

I usually make it with canned peaches, and a cake mix to make it super easy - since we are taking it camping after all.

But this version with fresh peaches, and a homemade cake type topping is amazing and its the perfect way to eat cobbler all year, but especially all summer long!

Topping the slow cooker cobbler with ice cream is a must! Because you can't have cobbler without vanilla ice cream. You can also add a maraschino cherry if you want ;)

If you love this peach cobbler recipe you'll also love these peach cobbler dump cake, or peach cobbler pound cake.

Helpful Tips to make Crock Pot Peach Cobbler:

  • You can use frozen, or canned peaches instead of fresh peaches. Don't use all the liquid in the canned peaches because the extra liquid will make the cobbler topping a little softer with less crunch on top. (I do recommend fresh peaches if they are in season though, they're flavor is just perfection)
  • Use a slow cooker liner, if you want for super easy clean up!

    Southern Peach Cobbler + VIDEO

Southern Peach Cobbler is the perfect summer dessert! Fresh sweet peaches baked with a crispy cobbler topping. Make this recipe for dessert tonight!

Fresh sweet peaches baked with a crispy cobbler topping Southern Peach Cobbler + VIDEO

After 6 years of making this recipe I was so excited to have my 7-year-old prepare it. I cut the peaches and cut in the butter. She did the rest. So easy a kid can make it and perfect every time!

Living in Southwestern Florida for so many years I developed an appreciation for many Southern things (not really the south, but a lot of Southern exposure). One of which is Southern desserts such as pies, crisps, and cobblers.

None have stuck with me quite as much as this recipe that my friend Mary shared with me, long after I moved to Arizona.

The peach mixture is luscious and creamy.  The cobbler is absolutely divine.  It is crisp on the outside and cakey on the inside.  Served along side a scoop of vanilla ice cream or frozen banana ice cream and you'll be in heaven.

This cobbler transports me to a small Southern town, where your neighbor bakes you a fresh cobbler with peaches they picked off their tree.

You sit on your porch drinking iced tea watching the sunset.  Your kids play out front with the neighborhood kids and you haven't a worry in the world.

You leave your front door open during the day and sleep with the windows open at night.

You hear musical phrases such as "all ya'll", "fit to be tied" and "down yonder" where they are "fixin' to" do something and they don't think or consider...  They "reckon".

Such fond memories with every bite of this fabulous cobbler.  I know you will enjoy it as much as I do!  Chad and Munchkin are HUGE fans too.

This cobbler is calling to me in my dreams, so I reckon' I'll be fixin' to make another!

Tips for making southern peach cobbler

    • Be sure to adjust your oven temperature if you are using glass pans or dark pans. They cook faster, so reduce your temperature by 25°.
    • You can cut in flour with a pastry blender, a fork or 2 butter knives.

Kitchen equipment for making this dessert recipe:

    • 9x13 Glass Baking DishI have my favorites and this set is one of them. The 9x13 is perfect for casseroles and the smaller size is awesome for making 1/2 a casserole recipe.

    Enjoy!

With love from our simple kitchen to yours.
