As a matter of fact it is sooo good that my picky 4 year old said to me tonight "Mommy, we should eat dinner before we eat dessert" as she was devouring her creamed corn. Yes that good.

This has consistently been one of our top recipes year after year, so we put together a video for you. You are going to love it!

I know I have mentioned a time or 10 how much I love corn, honestly I love it so much that I when I was younger I would eat a bowl of sweet corn for breakfast.

Well, now I am a bit more practical (most days), but I still love corn just about anyway I can get it.

Whether it is oven roasted, stovetop, grilled, corn casserole, corn salad or this most fabulous slow-cooked creamed corn, I would be happy to eat it every single day.

I have been working on my Best Ever Sides list.  It, of course, includes corn!

So far I have gravy, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, best ever mashed potatoes and garlic rolls (coming this week) and can you believe I didn't have a creamed corn recipe on our website?

Well, we had to remedy that immediately.

My creamed corn is literally about the easiest recipe you'll ever find.

You toss 6 ingredients in the slow cooker and voilà a few hours later, you have the most incredible creamed corn you have ever wrapped your lips around.

Cream cheese, milk, cream, butter, and sugar come together to create the most amazing cream sauce for the sweet corn.

After a few short hours, it creates this glorious lightly sweet creamed corn that goes with everything.  This is absolutely NOTHING like the stuff you buy in the can.

This magnificent creation is truly the Best Creamed Corn I have ever eaten in my life!

With side dishes like these, you will have a 5 star Holiday Dinner at home.

Classic Slow Cooker Stuffing

Classic Slow Cooker Stuffing starts with sausage, bacon and fresh herbs. An American favorite now comes to you in a simple crockpot recipe. With options for a simple prep of this dish you can have it ready to cook in about 10 minutes. Now, you can't beat that! Classic Slow Cooker Sausage Herb Stuffing that is bursting with flavor is sure to be the star of the show. Sorry turkey!
An American favorite now comes to you in a simple crockpot recipe Classic Slow Cooker Stuffing

It is almost Thanksgiving and all I can think about is the stuffing. I know I shared my stuffing love affair with you a few weeks ago with our fabulous Sausage, Cranberry, and Apple Stuffing recipe. It really is my best ever all time favorite stuffing. But, honestly not everyone wants 'fancy' stuffing. I get that. So with all the requests we have been getting for crockpot recipes for Thanksgiving I recreated a family classic.

As long as I can remember (and for many years before I knew them) my mother-in-law Gigi has been making a classic midwestern/southern stuffing with sausage and bacon.  Some years it would be sausage only, but honestly my favorite was with a double helping of the pork.

An American favorite now comes to you in a simple crockpot recipe Classic Slow Cooker Stuffing
Knowing y'all are begging for slow cooker recipes to simplify your life, I recreated a family favorite. Classic Slow Cooker Stuffing starts with sour dough bread, sausage, bacon and fresh herbs.  It is destined to be the star of the show. It's so good that we ate it for dinner last night.

If you are in a time crunch, try substituting out store bought plain stuffing cubes, precooked sausage links (chopped) and bacon crumbles. It cuts the prep time to about 10 minutes. With a stuffing recipe this fabulous you will be making it over and over.

    Crockpot Caramel Sauce

Best Ever Crockpot Caramel Sauce (aka Dulce De Leche) with just 2 ingredients most likely in your pantry and no stirring! This no-fail recipe results in the most magnificent, heavenly creation that you have ever made in your slow cooker. Guaranteed to be a favorite for a long time to come!

It is a divine creation that is utterly rich and creamy. It has a fabulously complex flavor with less overwhelming sweetness than caramel.
It's perfect on everything, but my favorite is on a spoon.

The Best Ever Dulce De Leche with just 2 ingredients and no stirring! It is a heavenly creation that will knock your socks off! Everyone is going to want it. Better buy more slow cookers. LOL

I have quite a dulce de leche obsession. I used to be hooked on caramel but it is almost too sweet. I mean it is cooked sugar with a little cream added, right? That is when I was introduced to dulce de leche. It is a divine creation that is utterly rich and creamy.

I can eat it by the spoonful! Dulce de leche is sweet milk slowly cooked until is it becomes dark, rich and thick. The traditional stove top method requires several hours of cooking and stirring often.

As much as I love my dulce de leche I just don't have the time or the patience to stand in front of my stove for hours. That is where the slow cooker comes in perfectly handy!

You really just pour the ingredients into canning jars, stir them together and cook. 8-10 hours later you have your thick, rich and creamy heavenly goodness. I have my spoon ready to dive in. It keeps for several weeks in the fridge, if it will last that long.

I gently warm my dulce de leche in the microwave, 30 seconds then stir. Until is it the thickness I am looking for. Perfect on cakes, great as a cupcake filling, dessert drizzle. I have stirred it into my brownies or cookies. It is perfect drizzled on cakes, ice cream and in coffee!

Can you imagine your morning coffee with a drizzle or scoop (no judgement here) of dulce de leche {{swoon}}. The thought makes me week in the knees. OK, enough chatting lets hurry and get to the recipe.

I cooked these for 8 hours to get this color. If you would like it richer colored, cook it longer. Note that at 10 hours it is as thick as custard.

      Best Thanksgiving Recipes (VIDEO)

Our top 30 Thanksgiving recipes with all the side dishes and Thanksgiving desserts you can imagine. Herb Roasted Turkey, Honey Baked Ham, potatoes, vegetables, salads and tons of desserts!

Thanksgiving is one of my absolute favorite holidays! Planning the menu with recipes everyone will love is so much fun. This year we are having many of our favorite Thanksgiving Sweet Potato Casserole, Best Ever Mashed Potatoes, Slow Cooker Creamed Corn and incredible Thanksgiving desserts. Scroll to the bottom to check out our most popular Thanksgiving desserts.

I love all the fun little details. I print out all of my recipes and write on them what time I have to start prepping them (taking them out of the fridge, making the dough, etc.) what time to start making each recipe and then plan to have slow cookers to transfer most of the food into to keep it warm.

I make my mashed potatoes the day before and warm them in a slow cooker (3 hours before we eat). I make the sweet potato casserole base and warm it in the oven and add the topping the day of Thanksgiving.

The gravy can be made the day before. And I prep all of my stuffing ingredients the day before (cook the sausage and the bacon, toast the bread). That way preparing the food on Thanksgiving day is so much less stressful, and you can focus on the important things.

We've put together our most popular Thanksgiving recipes and you are going to love them!
