All of your favorite breakfast fixin's come together with the most amazing and unexpected glaze to create the perfect breakfast or dinner.

We love these for game day and let me tell you they are amazingly convenient for tailgating! We love these sliders, Chad calls them a 'handful of yum'. Can't beat that endorsement!

Breakfast sausage is such a versatile ingredient that I've used it in quite a few different recipes including these breakfast sliders.

Have you had a chance to try my Garlic Parmesan Cheesy Sausage Bombs? Or, my Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Monkey Bread is one of my favorite hearty breakfast ideas.

If you're looking for a dinner recipe that uses sage breakfast sausage. you have got to try this delicious Sausage Gravy and Biscuit Skillet recipe.  You can have it on the table in just 30 minutes. It's perfect for your busiest nights.

Breakfast sandwiches really are one of my favorite make-ahead easy breakfast ideas. And, when it comes in a breakfast slider size, it's even better.

If you change up the ingredients, you have enough slider recipes to have a different breakfast or lunch almost every day.

Can I freeze these breakfast sliders?

Yes! One of the easiest ways to save time on a busy morning is by preparing your breakfast the day or weekend before.

Take some time on the weekend and make a batch of these breakfast sliders so you have breakfast all week.

Once the sliders are cooled, place each one (or two) in a freezer bag. They will stay good in the freezer for up to three months this way.

When you want to have one for breakfast, just take it out of the freezer and put it in the oven for a few minutes while you're getting ready for the day.

By the time you're ready to eat, you'll have a hot egg and breakfast sausage slider ready for you to eat.

Ingredient variations
These breakfast sliders use eggs, breakfast sausage, and cheese. But, you can alter the ingredients if you want to. Why not try breakfast sliders with biscuits instead of Hawaiian dinner rolls.

Or, you can try bagel breakfast sliders if you prefer.  The possibilities are endless.

To change this into a bacon breakfast sliders recipe, you can use regular or turkey bacon in place of the breakfast sausage.

Or, why not try deli ham instead. Change up the type of cheese you use. Or, leave the ingredients out that you don't want to use. It's that versatile and easy to modify.

Are these breakfast sliders just for breakfast?
You can enjoy these breakfast sliders any time you like. They make a great brunch or breakfast for dinner. Or, why not take them as a tailgating or appetizer recipe.

We always get rave reviews when we bring these to events.

What can I serve with breakfast sliders?
If you plan on serving these breakfast sausage sliders for breakfast, they are a complete meal by themselves. But, if you want to add something to your meal, you can slice fresh strawberries.

Or, why not try a bowl of fruit salad. My Best Ever Tropical Fruit Salad would be a delicious choice.

Helpful Tips to make Cheesy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Sliders To make for tailgating use a disposable foil pan or wrap individually in foil and keep warm. Sliders can be prepared a day ahead and popped in the oven before the big game.

If you prefer, you can cut back on the amount of maple syrup you use for a slightly less sweet breakfast slider recipe. Just use the same amount of butter and adjust the syrup as needed.

What you will need to make Cheesy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Sliders
  • A large skillet  –  ideally one that’s more than 12 inches in diameter.
  • 9x13 Baking Dish - I have my favorites and this set is one of them. The 9x13 is perfect for casseroles and the smaller size is awesome for making 1/2 a casserole recipe.

Enjoy!

Cheesy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Sliders

Cheesy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Sliders are a fully loaded perfectly portable hand held breakfast. All of your favorite breakfast fixin's come together with the most amazing and unexpected glaze to create the perfect Brinner (breakfast or dinner). We love these for game day and let me tell you they are amazingly convenient for tailgating! We love these sliders, Chad calls them a 'handful of yum'. Can't beat that endorsement!

Ingredients

  • 2 (12 oz) pork sausage rolls
  • 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls
  • 8 large eggs, scrambled
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  2. Warm large skillet over medium heat. Form sausage into 12 patties, slightly larger than one dinner roll. Add sausage to skillet and cook until completely cooked through.

  4. Scoop scrambled eggs onto bottom rolls; top with pepper jack. Place sausage on top of pepper jack and top with American cheese. Carefully top with top buns.

  6. Bake 15-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted. Serve and enjoy!
DONNA'S NOTES
  1. To make for tailgating use a disposable foil pan or wrap individually in foil and keep warm. Sliders can be prepared a day ahead and popped in the oven before the big game.

We are so excited to be partnering with our friends at Jones Dairy Farm to bring you a scrumptious breakfast or brunch recipe perfect for the holidays with family and friends, starring one of my favorite ingredients: Sausage Links!!!

Most mornings around here start with their Jones Dairy Farm fully cooked breakfast links. I especially love their chicken sausage links for my quick and easy make ahead breakfast. I make up a weeks worth of scrambled eggs with sausage and cheese in little bowls that I can quickly heat up and eat. I know I have mentioned that I am not much of a morning person. I mean I want to be, but I am pretty much a zombie in the morning.

That is where easy breakfasts come in. I know you all loved Cheesy Bacon and Egg Breakfast Bombs so much. So I decided to share another scrumptious breakfast bombs creation with you. Being it's National Frozen Food Month and all, my shortcut using frozen dinner rolls work out perfect here. If you prefer homemade though you can check out the Jalapeno Popper Cheesy Pretzel Bombs and use the dough recipe from that one.

Being I always have Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Fully Cooked Sausage in my freezer, I figured what could be an easier breakfast that to make a scrumptious Garlic Parmesan Cheesy Sausage Bomb?

They start with frozen dinner rolls (yes that simple). The bread roll is rolled out and stuffed with huge chunks of mozzarella cheese and scrumptious bite-size pieces of sausage! Then you wrap it up like a little package, top it with garlic butter and Parmesan cheese and bake it in the oven (or pop it in the fridge until morning). And you can customize these to make them whatever you like. They are your favorite breakfast items rolled into one scrumptious, portable taste sensation!

What kind of taste sensations are you creating at home? Jones Dairy Farm is once again hosting their annual Rise, Sizzle & Shine Recipe Contest and the prizes are bigger and better than ever with a $5,000 Grand Prize! You can get all of the details here. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Starting the day with an amazing breakfast inspired by our traditional cheesy bombs is the perfect way to get the day going! Ready in 30 minutes, you can't hardly beat that. Tender poppers stuffed with ooey gooey mozzarella cheese and scrumptious bites of sausage. I love them dipped in marinara but they are so good, they don't need anything at all.

I will let you all know that you can pick up Jones Dairy Farm products at your local retailer. The company’s products are distributed nationwide, so be sure to check out their product locator so see where you can pick some up. It gets even better than that; you can make these ahead. That's right! Prep them the night before and pop them in the oven in the morning.

Nothing says 'holiday' like starting the day with a special breakfast.

Whether it is Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years or a Father's Day I love starting the day off with a scrumptious homemade hot breakfast.

As I have shared many times, I am not much of a morning person. Which kind of throws a wrench in those morning breakfast plans.

I would love to get up at 5 AM and start making breakfast from scratch. But let's be honest, that's not happening!

This scrumptious recipe is the pull apart egg breakfast of your dreams Cheesy Bacon and Egg Breakfast Bombs (VIDEO)Most days my crew will usually eat cereal, and I will grab a protein shake.

The only hot breakfast my family and friends are going to be eating is one that I prepared the night before, and I can toss in the oven in the morning.

That is one of the many reasons I absolutely love love love make-ahead breakfasts!

They are awesome for less stress and more time to spend with your family and friends.

Starting the day with an amazing breakfast inspired by our traditional cheesy bombs is the perfect way to get the day going!

Literally on November 1st, I am in holiday mode.

I am ready for the Christmas tree to go up and I am planning for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

By November 2nd I already have a plan. There is no time to waste.

It's the holiday season, the most wonderful time of the year and I want to enjoy every microsecond of it!

Helpful Tips to make Cheesy Bacon and Egg Breakfast Bombs:

  • If you would like these to be round (more like our traditional bomb series) and less like a pull-apart bread you can bake them on a cookie sheet about 2-3 inches away from each other.
  •  If you prefer, you can use a pastry roller or small rolling pin to roll these bombs out.

What you will need to make Cheesy Bacon and Egg Breakfast Bombs:

  • Jelly Roll Pans (baking sheets with sides) - used for everything from cookies to roasting, a good baking pan will last for years.
  • Mixing bowlsCombine all of the ingredients for this salad in a large mixing bowl.
  • Whisk - I have had this set for over 10 years and it is still as good as the day I bought it. With 3 sizes there is a whisk for every job.
  • Cheese Grater- As much as I love buying shredded cheese because I'm lazy, freshly grated cheese melts down so much better and creates a smoother recipe.

Enjoy!

Cheesy Bacon and Egg Breakfast Bombs

Cheesy Bacon and Egg Breakfast Bombs are soft and tender portable poppers, stuffed with smoky bacon, scrambled eggs and ooey-gooey cheese! This scrumptious recipe is the pull-apart breakfast of your dreams!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Applewood smoked bacon
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • pinch black pepper
  • 16 frozen dinner yeast roll dough balls
  • flour (to dust counter)
  • 8 ounces shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium jalapeno, diced
  • 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, diced
Garlic Herb Butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare bacon. I love my bacon in the oven. Bake at 400ºF on a baking sheet. Cook 15-25 minutes or until desired crispness is reached. Remove from the oven. Allow to cool and chop into bite-size pieces.
  2. Meanwhile: Prepare the eggs. In a medium bowl combine eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk until completely combined. Spray a small skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Add the egg mixture and stir occasionally until the eggs are scrambled, and no liquid is left in the pan, about 3-4 minutes. Do not cook until they are completely dry, or they will be very dry in the breakfast bomb. Set aside to cool.
  3. Place dinner rolls on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on defrost for about 3-4 minutes (or until dough is no longer frozen, but not cooked). Butter a 9" pie plate or a 9"x9" baking pan and set aside.
  4. Lightly flour your countertop. Toss 1 piece of dough in flour and flatten and stretch like you are making a mini pizza. Stretch dough to about 3-4” across.
  5. Sprinkle a tablespoon of cheese over the dough and press into the dough with the palm of your hand. Top with one tablespoon eggs, one tablespoon bacon, 1/2 teaspoon jalapenos, and 1/2 teaspoon red peppers onto the center of the dough round. Pull the top and bottom edges of the dough together and then add the left and right edges. Pinch the dough together to create a ball. If the ball won’t seal, tap your fingertips into the flour and then crimp the seal together. Place dough ball in prepared dish. Repeat until all breakfast bombs are in the dish.
  6. Spray a piece of plastic wrap with non-stick spray, place the wrap sprayed side down on the breakfast bombs. Refrigerate until morning or proceed with instructions immediately (cook time will be about 30-35 minutes if not refrigerated).
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  8. Remove baking dish from the refrigerator, remove plastic wrap. Bake for 40-45  minutes until the tops are golden brown and the breakfast bombs are no longer doughy. You can pull one of the edge pieces out and if it is still doughy cook it for another 5 minutes. Cover with foil if the tops start getting too brown (I covered mine at 25 minutes).

  9. Meanwhile: In a small bowl melt butter in the microwave, about 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Add garlic, parsley, and salt.  Stir with a pastry brush. Remove breakfast bombs from the oven. Brush them with melted butter mixture.
  10. Serve and enjoy!

DONNA'S NOTES

  1. If you would like these to be round (more like our traditional bomb series) and less like a pull-apart bread you can bake them on a cookie sheet about 2-3 inches away from each other.
  2. If you prefer, you can use a pastry roller or small rolling pin to roll these bombs out.

We are so excited to be partnering with our friends at Jones Dairy Farm to bring you my new favorite summer slider!

It's is like your favorite pork and apples in a tiny burger. It couldn't be easier with one of my favorite ingredients: All Natural Golden Brown® Pork Sausage Patties!!!

are an epic twist on the classic burger recipe Sausage Summer Sliders

Burgers are always a crowd pleaser during the summer. And pork and apples are one of my favorite combinations!

When I was trying to think of the perfect new slider, the vision of a sausage summer slider with pork, barbecue sauce and sweet and tangy apple slaw was born.

It is absolutely amazing. Every bite is an explosion of flavor!

What is the best sausage to use in Sausage Summer Sliders?

You really want to start with a sausage patty that has fantastic flavor and one that is good enough to stand on its own.

Jones Dairy Farm sausage is absolutely amazing! With big bold flavors packed into a little patty these all-natural sausages are incredibly versatile and can be used for any meal breakfast, lunch or dinner.

They are fully cooked and contain no nitrates or nitrites, no preservatives, and no MSG. And they are made with just five ingredients: pork, water, salt, spices and sugar!

What kind of buns do you use with sliders?

The type of bun that you use with a slider really depends on what kind of slider you are serving and what the toppings are. If you are serving a really saucy Chicken Parmesan Slider, a soft toasted Hawaiian bread, or a firmer ciabatta is the perfect match.

With a soft and tender Cheesy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Sliders a sweet Hawaiian roll was again the perfect match.

For this Sausage Summer Slider with bbq sauce and crispy slaw topping we opted for a brioche dinner roll that was perfectly sized for our sausage patties!

are an epic twist on the classic burger recipe Sausage Summer Sliders

Helpful Tips to make Sausage Summer Sliders:

  • Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Golden Brown® Pork sausage patties add tremendous flavor to this recipe but you can easily form your own patties with their pork breakfast sausage roll. Visit the product locator on the Jones Dairy Farm website to find their products at a store near you.
  • You can make these ahead and keep them tented with aluminum foil in a disposable pan for the perfect tail gating meal!
  • If you prefer you can use thinly sliced green cabbage and julienned carrots in place of the cole slaw mix.

What you will need to make Sausage Summer Sliders:

    • Mandoline slicer - This slicer is perfect for making easy work of uniform fruit or vegetable slices. I must have bought and returned 6 mandoline slicers before this one.  This one, I have had for 7 years and I still love it.
    • Cutting Board- A big good solid cutting board so you can prep all your veggies on one surface.  I use my cutting board daily so it’s worth the investment.
    • Quality Knives- Quality knives make prep time much quicker and are important for safety as well.  If you make one kitchen investment, I believe it should be in quality knives.

    Enjoy!

Sausage, Egg and Cheese Monkey Bread

Sausage, Egg and Cheese Monkey Bread is the perfect pull-apart breakfast of your dreams. They are soft and tender bread bites with sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs and ooey gooey cheese, topped with a garlic herb butter!

They are soft and tender bread bites with sausage Sausage, Egg and Cheese Monkey Bread

Starting the day with a hot hearty breakfast really gets the day off to a great start, but as I have mentioned before, I am not much of a morning person. Which kind of throws a wrench in those morning breakfast plans.

I would love to get up at the crack of dawn and prepare an awesome breakfast from scratch, but let's be honest... That isn't going to happen.

But, with the help of this fabulous overnight recipe we CAN have a fresh hot breakfast. All we do it make it the night before and toss this monkey bread in the oven in the morning while we get ready.

A make ahead breakfast with ooey gooey cheese and sausage; it doesn't get much better than that!

This Sausage, Egg and Cheese Monkey Bread starts with frozen dinner rolls (yes that simple).

The bread rolls are tossed in garlic butter and layered in a bundt pan with scrambled eggs, chicken breakfast sausage links and ooey gooey cheese. Then you bake it in the oven (or pop it in the fridge until morning).

Starting the day with an amazing breakfast is the perfect way to get the day going!

Helpful Tips to make Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Monkey Bread:

    • Something I learned about making soft scrambled eggs that don't dry out. Use a smaller pan than you think you need. I use a small skillet for up to 6 eggs. And remove them from the heat once the liquid in the pan has cooked off. If you wait until the eggs are dry you waited too long.
    • Preshredded cheeses generally have anti-caking ingredients that will absorb moisture from your food. Shredding your own cheese makes for more predictable cooking results.

What you will need to make Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Monkey Bread:

    • Bundt Pan - This is my favorite shape.
    • Mixing bowlsI like a vaiery of mixing bowls and prep bowls and this set has them all.
    • Cheese Grater- As much as I love buying shredded cheese because I'm lazy, fresh grated cheese melts down so much better and creates a smoother recipes.

    Enjoy!

Sausage, Egg and Cheese Monkey Bread is the perfect pull-apart breakfast of your dreams. They are soft and tender bread bites with sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs and ooey gooey cheese, topped with a garlic herb butter!

    ingredients:

    • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
    • 6 large eggs
    • 3 tablespoons whole milk
    • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
    • pinch black pepper
    • 24 frozen dinner yeast roll dough balls
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
    • 5-ounces sausage links, cut into coins
    • 8-ounces shredded Colby Jack cheese

    instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray your 10-cup bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
    2. In a medium bowl combine eggs, milk, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and pepper. Whisk until completely combined.
    3. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to a small skillet. Heat the skillet over medium heat. Once the butter is melted add the egg mixture and stir occasionally until the eggs are scrambled, and no liquid is left in the pan, about 3-4 minutes. Do not cook until they are completely dry, or they will be overcooked in the monkey bread.
    4. Place dinner rolls on a microwave-safe plate and microwave on defrost for about 3-4 minutes (or until dough is no longer frozen, but not cooked).
    5. Cut dough balls into 1/4's.
    6. In a large microwave-safe bowl combine remaining 6 tablespoons of butter (cut into chunks for easy melting), 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt. Microwave until butter is melted. Stir in 1 tablespoon chives.
    7. Add quartered dough balls to the garlic butter mixture. Toss to coat.
    8. Layer in 1/3 of the dough balls, 1/2 of the scrambled eggs, 1/2 of the sausage and about 1/2 of the cheese in the bundt pan. Repeat layer with 1/3 of the dough balls and the remaining eggs, sausage and cheese. Top with remaining dough pieces. Pour any remaining garlic butter over the top.
    9. Spray a piece of plastic wrap with non-stick spray, place the wrap sprayed side down on the breakfast bombs.
    10. Allow to rise in a warm place until doubled (about 30 minutes) or if making overnight, refrigerate until morning. See notes for more overnight directions.
    11. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through. Cover with foil if the tops start getting too brown (I covered mine at 20 minutes).
    12. Allow monkey bread to cool for 5 minutes in the pan and then loosen the bread from the sides of the pan with a knife or silicone spatula. Invert onto a plate.
    13. Serve and enjoy!
    DONNA'S NOTES:
    1. To make overnight, cover with plastic wrap after assembled. In the morning, preheat oven to 350°F. Set bundt pan on the stove (or in a warm place) for 30 minutes to take the chill off. Bake for 30-40 minutes until cooked through. Cover with foil if the tops start getting too brown (I cover mine at 20 minutes).
